Mission Statement

We are an authorized dealer of both conventional and digital and professional photographic equipment and supplies. From commercial photographers, to photo students and avid amateurs, we are relied upon for quality products and excellent service.

With our experienced and knowledgeable sales team, along with the support from our biggest suppliers, we aim to provide high quality products and services that not only meet, but exceed the our customers expectations.

Our low prices and high regards for customer service outshine our competitors, while making our company a primary source of photographic and electronic products from hardware to photofinishing to repair services.

Incorporated in 1979 to pursue business opportunities in the growing field of photographic specialty retail stores, Aden Camera has grown to 3 retail locations. In 1999, Aden Camera started a very successful e-commerce program, offering our products and services throughout the world.

We are a Canadian owned and operated business that has been in operation since 1979. As a member of the Cantrex/Sears Canada group, Aden Camera and its suppliers have created an immense relationship.

As a result, we have with more opportunities, more professional and consumer products, faster training, and better pricing than any other competitors.

Payment

For Canadian and U.S. Customers:

Credit card purchases may be placed through our secured information page for immediate processing of your order. Any other form of payment such as international money order or bank wire transfers, please contact us at info@adencamera.com with your order and form of payment. Note to U.S. customers: please do not send green postal money orders, as they are only negotiable in the U.S.

For International Customers:

Sorry, but we do not accept credit card orders for international buyers. Payment for purchases can be made by international money order, bank draft or bank wire transfer. Please contact us at info@adencamera.com with your order and form of payment.

Shipping

All shipping orders will be shipped to the billing address on your credit card only. This is for verification purposes in order to process your transaction and for the privacy and protection of your credit card account.

In-store Pickup

Orders chosen to be picked up at the 348 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario store are subject to Ontario's 13% HST.

For Canadian Customers:

All items valued up to $5000.00CDN are shipped by Canada Post with proper content insurance. All items valued over $5000.00CDN are shipped via UPS with proper content insurance. Customers will be contacted regarding the charge for UPS shipping. Applicable taxes will be added on all shipping charges to all Canadian residents. Ontario residents are subject to 13% HST, Nova Scotia residents are subject to 15% HST, Prince Edward Island residents are subject to 13% HST. All other provinces are subject to 5% GST plus their respective PST (if applicable).

For U.S. Customers:

All items valued up to $1000.00CDN are shipped by Canada Post with proper content insurance. All items valued over $1000.00CDN are shipped via UPS with proper content insurance. Customers will be contacted regarding the charge for shipping. When shipping out of Canada, Aden Camera is not responsible for duties, brokerage and/or state taxes that may apply.

For International Customers (including US and Overseas):

Please email us at info@adencamera.com before placing your order to get a shipping quote. Prices will be determined based on the country the item is to be sent to, and the size and the weight of product.

Delivery Dates

Delivery dates within Canada are approximations and are shipped to the best of our ability the next business day. Delivery dates outside of Canada are approximations that do not include possible delays due to customs.

Return / Exchange Policy

All sales are final. Aden Camera offers 10 days for exchange upon receiving the item, on defective merchandise only.

Any defective merchandise must be returned in original condition and packaging.

Please check your merchandise upon receiving it, to ensure that everything is included and that you merchandise is functioning. You can also request for us to open your purchase and inspect your item on your behalf, to make sure that everything is in working order before shipping.

The original receipt must be included with all merchandise to be exchanged. Please keep a photocopy for your own records. Merchandise will not be exchanged if the original receipt is not included.

Items can also be brought directly to our 348 Yonge St. location for exchange or can be shipped back to us by mail.

There are NO EXCHANGES on the following items: Open Software, Film, PhotoChemistry, Light Bulbs, Books/Magazines, Photo Paper, Batteries, Special Orders, and Sensitive Materials.

All shipping charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Aden Camera reserves the right to refuse/cancel orders or limit quantities if we believe that customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interests of Aden Camera or any Third Parties.

All items marked "Clearance" or "Demo" can not be refunded or exchanged. These sales are deemed "final sale".

Site Errors

Prices and availability of product are subject to change without notice. While Aden Camera strives to ensure that www.adencamera.com is accurate and complete, we cannot be held responsible for errors and omissions. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and Aden Camera reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Aden Camera will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.

Aden Camera reserves the right to, without notice, make changes to www.adencamera.com, including without limitation with respect to products offered, product information, availability, content and pricing, and may at any time modify the Terms and Conditions of use of www.adencamera.com. Your continued use of www.adencamera.com will be conditioned upon your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of your use.

Privacy

For security of transactions, Aden Camera uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts any personal information you send to us electronically. The encryption process protects your information, such as your credit card number, billing and shipping information by scrambling it before it is sent to us from your computer.

Only Aden Camera website sales representatives access your credit card information. Credit card information is used only for the order you are placing. We do not keep your credit card information on hand for future orders. Your email is never added to a mailing list and is never sent out to other clients, customers or businesses. We may contact you by email and/or phone regarding your purchase.

Personal information will only be disclosed if fraudulent activity is suspected. By law, Aden Camera must comply and co-operate with law enforcement and other officials in any investigation requiring personal information, including any information provided online through www.adencamera.com.

Liability Disclaimer

Aden Camera and the Third Parties are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or stolen messages or mail, unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, on-line failures, hardware, software or other technical malfunctions or disturbances or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting communications.

Aden Camera and the Third Parties assume no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may infect your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing on AdenCamera.com or your downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video or audio from Aden Camera. In no event shall Aden Camera or any of the Third Parties be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or any special, exemplary, punitive, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind (including, but not limited to lost profits or lost savings), whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, which arises out of or is in any way connected with any use of AdenCamera.com or content found herein, any failure or delay (including, but not limited to the use of or inability to use any component of AdenCamera.com for purchases), of the performance or non performance by Aden Camera or any of the Third Parties, even if such party has been advised of the possibility of damages by such parties or any other party.

Warranty

Aden Camera is an authorized dealer/distributor for all items listed on www.adencamera.com. Items come with a warranty issued by their respected Canadian distributors.

Any warranty repairs must be returned with a copy of the original bill of sale (photocopy). Warranty cards are not sufficient.

Items can be shipped back to Aden Camera for handling, however please note that shipping charges are not the responsibility of Aden Camera.

On all warranties and repairs, Aden Camera acts as a service agent only and can not assume liability for any film or spoiled images lost through the malfunction of the product or for consequential loss of any kind. Time of repairs varies depending on the manufacturer's repair workload.

For Canadian Customers:

All items can be returned for warranty repair either directly to the manufacturer, to any authorized repair service center or to Aden Camera directly.

For U.S. Customers:

Please note some items may only carry a Canada wide warranty and are therefore not valid in the U.S. Items in this case must be sent back to Aden Camera. The Canadian manufacturers will not ship to the U.S. Items that carry U.S./International warranties will be accepted by your local authorized repair service center for the time period stated on the written international warranty card.

For All Customers:

Please call or email either Aden Camera or the manufacturers in regards to your quandary before sending your item. In many cases, the problem can be minor and solved over the phone or by email.

Indemnification

You shall indemnify and save harmless Aden Camera and the Third Parties and their officers, directors, employees, consultants, representatives and agents from and against any claim, cause of action or demand, including without limitation reasonable legal, accounting and other professional fees, brought as a result of your use of AdenCamera.com
