The Gitzo GIGT2545T Traveler Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod is a compact support system with legs that fold around the center column and optional head sold separately.  These reverse-folding legs contribute to the tripod's folded length of just 17.5". It extends to 60.8" high and can hold up to 26 lb worth of gear. With the included short center column installed, the tripod can get down to 8.7" for macro or low-angle shooting.
