Nikon's 135mm fast F2 maximum aperture allows sharp imaging in low light and shallow depth of field control. Furthermore, its unique Defocus Image Control ring creates smooth and subtle out-of-focus areas in either the foreground or background of your image. A rounded diaphragm also adds to more natural looking out-of-focus areas and a manual aperture control ring is supported. On DX format DSLRs it offers a 197.5mm focal length equivalence.
